Uggerby River

The river has a large stock of sea trout, river trout, eel, roach and pike.
Uggerby River’s sea trout stock is unique because of the size of the fish. The average weight is around 5 kg, and each year fish up to 10 kg are caught.

The association has about 50 km of fishing rights on the river.

The area marked red on the map overleaf indicates that all fishing is forbidden. At the river, fishing rights are marked with signs.

A fishing licences together with a national permit must be brought and shown on demand of the fishery officers, riverbank owners or associate members with a valid membership card.

The closed season is from November 16th to January 15th.
Kelt is protected until April 1st.

Minimum Length:
Sea trout and salmon - 40 cm
River Trout - 30 cm
Pike - 60 cm

One may take home up to 3 trout or salmon per day.
